What to find in this article:

1. Removing players online access to free up ‘Player Account’ space.

2. Ensuring consistent access for players.

3. Creating easy find folders by names of competitions.

4. Naming Videos.

5. Removing analysts and inviting new analysts.

1. Removing players online access to free up ‘Player Account’ space.

When removing players from their online access, this does not delete their stats and you can assign a non used jersey number in case you want to bring them back in future.

When on the ‘Players’ page, click ‘Remove’ on the player whose online access you want to remove.

You will then be issued with a command, click ‘Remove’ again and their access will be gone and a space freed up.

2. Ensuring consistent access for players.

Players can be one of three things on the platform:

A - Unconnected

B - Connected with only access to data for their own games

C - Connected with access to all data

To ensure good practice, when a player is connected to Performa Sports, be consistent and have all your players ticked or unticked. You can do this by checking or unchecking the box located in the top left corner of each player profile. By being consistent, all players are then able to see the same information.

3. Creating easy find folders by names of competitions.

We recommend naming your competitions after competitions, seasons or tournaments to create easy find folders on the online platform.

You can do this on your iPad App by;

Naming the competition correctly when creating a new game. The App will suggest auto-fills when you begin typing a competition name that is similar to one used before.

Or..

You can tidy up competition names after games have already been created by;

Going to ‘Games’, selecting the options button located in the top right corner and then selecting ‘Edit Game Details’.

This will open up the game details and you can rename the competition to fit an easy find folder.

Users of the online platform will now be able to find games more easily by selecting ‘All Competitions’ which will issue a drop down list of competitions that have been created.

4. Naming Videos.

When new videos are uploaded, they are untitled and need to be renamed.

You can do this by selecting the video and pressing the ‘Pencil’ sign located to the right of the video name.

Then rename the video and click the check button to confirm it.

We at Performa Sports suggest using ‘Home Team vs Away Team Date’ format, so videos are easily identifiable. This clarifies the difference between videos of the same two teams.

By renaming the videos in a consistent and understandable fashion, they will also be more easily located in the ‘Online Videos’ section of the iPad App.

5. Removing analysts and inviting new analysts.

When management teams change, previous analysts may need to be removed and new analysts and coaches added to the organisation's account.

On the online platform, click the team name/drop down list in the top right corner of the main dashboard and select ‘Analysts’.

Click ‘Remove’ under the analyst you want to remove from the team.

You will then be issued with a command, click ‘Remove’ to confirm the removal of the analyst chosen.

To invite new analysts, click ‘Invite’.

You can then invite new analysts to the account by entering their email address and clicking ‘send’.
